Leaving from Florence, we will stop for a visit of about an hour in the most famous village of the Chianti Classico region, Greve in Chianti
The tour will continue with a wine tasting, a visit of the historical cellars and a lunch in the Castle of Vicchiomaggio, whose origin date back to the Middle Ages. It is set on top of a hill, dominating the vineyards below.
After the lunch based on local specialities, we will continue to Badia a Coltibuono, an ancient former Abbey of the XI century, whose original name was Badia a Cultusboni, meaning abundant crop.
In the price is included the guided tour and a tasting of two local production’s wines.
