Leaving from Florence, we will stop for a visit of about an hour in the most famous village of the Chianti Classico region, Greve in Chianti
The tour will continue with wine tasting, visit of the historical cellars and a lunch in the Verrazzano’s Castle, where the famous navigator Giovanni da Verrazzano who discovered the bay of New York and the majority of the East coast of nowadays U.S. was born.
After the lunch based on local specialities, we will continue to Badia a Coltibuono, an ancient ex- Abbey of the XI century, whose original name was Badia a Cultusboni, meaning abundant crop.
In the price is included the guided tour and a tasting of two local production’s wines.
Return in the evening.
